Since I emailed yesterday I have already had many responses to my Wiki which has been great. Dale Jones from the Mary Webb School has emailed me some great advice and experience from work in Shropshire.
I contacted John from Sandaig Otters and he has already been really helpful, I hope that his expertise can help with the start of our class blog.

So here is a great recommendation. If you are a teacher working with your class on instructional text then I would recommend using Wikihow. It reminded me of the How Stuff Works site but is characterised with wiki features – you can freely contribute articles and edit others.

Over the last week my class have been voting for their new wordpress theme on our class blog. We decided upon 5 themes including the current one and I set up a poll on our wikispace so that the class could vote for their favourite. I used PollDaddy to create the poll and embedded it

After coming across SPLODER I thought it would be good for my kids to design some games, which we will be doing in the near future. And what better place to play them than in our WIKISPACE ARCADE.
