The Water CycleI just finished making this diagram in SMART Notebook – what do you think?
If you would like a copy of the Notebook you are very welcome to one, just let me know. The labels are not locked so it would be a nice little task to label the diagram. I just spent 10 mins finishing off and adding colour after school – honest!

Befuddlr allows you to create a quick interactive puzzles and is great to consolidate the learning for this sort of topic. Here is a link to a different diagram puzzle. And a link to a Befuddlr puzzle for my picture too.

Hope you find them useful 🙂

  1. Hi Wayne – you can add the usual types of links with SMART Nbk: to a webpage, to a file, to something attached to the nbk or to other pages within it.

  2. Great image, are you able to make hyperlinks from each process using Smart Notebook? My undergrads produced a non-linear PowerPoint of the watercycle. The slideshow commenced as an animation and at the end each stage of the cycle was a hyperlink that, when clicked, went to another page with details of the selected process. I only allow non-linear use of PowerPoint.

  4. Nice illustration for the water cycle, it’s amazing how well you can draw in Smart notebook.

  5. Great picture, I remember painting this onto a display board one year. Was really great until I had to change the display. At least with this you have it for ever.

  6. Great diagram! very colorful and fun looking, I’m sure it will be a great teaching aide! I am currently a student at Purdue University studying biology education and my theme for one of my education courses is the water cycle, so I was very excited to see this diagram and it’s realistic application towards teaching and learning. I’m not familiar with Befuddlr, but after looking at the site it seems like a lot of fun and also a great way to make learning more enjoyable and interactive.
